Contextual advertisement: Advertising with respect to the content.

Conversion (goal): Achievement of a measurable goal on a website like Ad clicks, sign ups, and sales.

Conversion rate: Percentage of users who convert – see conversion.

CPC Cost per Click – the amount that is paid for every click by author to publisher. Here with whose website is advertising is an author and search engine is publisher.

CPM (Cost per Thousand impressions): It is amount to be paid by author to publisher for thousand impressions of an ad.
